Tony Guerra began his study of Karate in 1961, and received his Yondan (4th degree black belt) from the Dai Nippon Butoku Kai of Kyoto, Japan. For almost five decades, he had devoted himself to the teaching and study of karate-do and other martial arts.
In addition to teaching in his school in Concord, California, Mr. Guerra has overseen the instruction of hundreds of students and has the distinction of having achieved the distinction of receiving two Purple Heart, Combat Action Award, pistol marksman, rifle Marksman, and commendation after having served two tours of service in the Viet Nam war.
